7 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Felix Hernandez bounced back well on Tuesday night against the Kansas City Royals. He went 5 2/3 innings and gave up six hits, while allowing three earned runs. He struck out three batters and only walked one. This bounce-back performance came after being shelled for eight runs in his previous start against the San Francisco Giants. In that start, King Felix had allowed five free passes and struck out a lone Giant. Hernandez should be plugged into your lineup when he has favorable matchups, but be wary of his automatic usage until his strikeout rate improves.--Brendan Kennealy
