7 years agoBoston Red Sox ace Chris Sale picked up his first victory Tuesday night against the equally dominant lineup of the Yankees. Sale gave up eight hits in six innings but only allowed one run and struck out eight batters. Sale allowed more batters on base than he would like, but he was able to prevent them from doing any actual damage. He also benefited from his offense scoring 14 runs. Sale stays at home for his next start and has a better matchup in the Orioles.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
