7 years agoChicago White Sox catcher Welington Castillo (knee) is day-to-day with a sore right knee. Castillo hurt his knee when his spike got stuck while throwing out C.J. Cron in the top of the sixth inning on Tuesday. Castillo was pinch hit for in the bottom half of the inning. Manager Rick Renteria said if Castillo needs a day off, he will give it to him, but that Castillo should be “fine.” Castillo remains a candidate to be a top-10 catcher this year. Omar Narvaez would replace Castillo if he is forced to miss a start or two.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
