7 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel (hand) is back in Houston and could return to the lineup by Friday, per MLB.com. Gurriel is expected to get his workouts in at Minute Maid Park the rest of the week, and all systems are a go for his return. Gurriel is recovering from hamate bone surgery in his hand and is chomping at the bit to get into the mix and begin contributing. Fantasy owners may need to be patient at first with Gurriel, but he certainly has the offensive talent after hitting .299 with 18 home runs, 43 doubles and 75 runs batted in during the 2017 season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
