Lance McCullers Wild And Ineffective In Loss
7 years agoHouston Astros starter Lance McCullers lasted only 3 2/3 innings while allowing eight earned runs in the Astros 9-8 loss to the Twins. McCullers walked six batters and endured a disastrous fourth inning, allowing all eight runs before being pulled after allowing a two-run blast to the Twins' Max Kepler. McCullers did strike out six in the outing but most of the damage was of his own making. McCullers posted two strong starts before this dud and will look to right the ship in his next outing.
