7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Junior Guerra went 5 1/3 innings while giving up four hits, one earned run, two walks and striking out four in the 3-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Guerra had a little bit of a crazy fifth inning, as he allowed three men on base, but managed to get out without giving up a single run while he was on the mound. The earned run came from one of his runners coming in when Dan Jennings took over in the sixth. This encouraging start may keep him in the majors for another chance, and he looks to return to his 2016 season where he pitched to a 2.81 ERA. Keep an eye on whether he stays in the majors or not.--Caden Inaba
