Luis Castillo Notches Quality Start
7 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo turned in a quality start against the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday. Castillo allowed three runs on five hits over six innings, striking out four. All of the damage off of Castillo came via the home run, as he allowed two in the game, a two-run shot in the second inning and a solo blast in the fifth. Either way, this goes down as his best start of the season. Through three outings, Castillo has an 0-2 record, 7.31 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 16 innings. Stay patient with Castillo in fantasy, as he has excellent stuff and his xFIP of 3.71 suggests that better times are ahead for the 25-year-old.
