Joey Votto Drives In One
7 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto had an excellent day at the plate on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Phillies. Votto went 3-for-5 with three singles, one RBI, and one run scored. The star hitter is off to a solid, if unspectacular, start to the season, batting .273 with a .586 OPS, two runs, and three RBI. While it isn't a huge start to the season, Votto has shown to be a slow starter over the past few years, so his fantasy owners have no cause for concern. He remains one of the best hitters in baseball and should end up as a top-five first baseman in fantasy by the end of the season.
