Nazem Kadri Ejected From Game 1 Against Bruins, Likely To Be Suspended
7 years agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri was charged with five minutes for charging and 10 minutes for a game misconduct after a head shot on Bruins forward Tommy Wingels. Wingels was on his knees after laying a hit and Kadri launched his body into Wingels' head that was against the boards. For anyone who watched the hit, it is almost certainly going to warrant a suspension discipline from NHL's player safety, as the head was the main point of contact. The main question is how long he's going to be out for. He's easily a top-six center on the Leafs and the team will miss his presence, provided he is suspended. As for Wingels, he headed down the tunnel.
