7 years agoLos Angeles Angels left-hander Andrew Heaney will be recalled from the DL to start on Friday for the Angels against the Royals. It looks like reliever Felix Pena is being sent down in his place. Heaney has been on the DL with elbow inflammation, but threw well in a rehab appearance and appears ready to go. The left-hander had a tough go of things last year however, so while he is worth monitoring on the waiver wire, he is not worth adding outside of very deep leagues until he puts together a handful of solid starts.--patton
