7 years agoHouston Astros starter Gerrit Cole is off to a dominant start after striking out 14 batters while allowing only two runs through seven innings of work against the Rangers. He was unable to secure the win but Cole is off to a blistering start. Through three starts, he has allowed only three runs with a sparkling 36 strikeouts through 21 innings pitched. Cole looks like he's back to the form that made him a Cy Young candidate in 2015. He has command of all of his pitches right now and has dominated the Rangers lineup twice thus far in the young season. Cole is proving to be quite the fantasy value in the first month of the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
