7 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz has been activated from the disabled list and will start Saturday night, per MLB.com. Cruz sprained his ankle when he slipped in the dugout after hitting his second home run of the season. His return comes at a great time as the top half of the Mariners lineup is producing at a high level right now. Cruz has played in two games, already has two home runs and has been the team's top run producer the past three seasons. There is still time to sneak Cruz into lineups before Saturday's game against the A's.--Joey C - RotoBaller
