7 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer is beginning to show signs of coming out of his early-season slump. Springer is 6-for-15 over his last four games with three solo home runs. Springer will have an excellent chance to add to that total Tuesday night against Mariners left-hander Ariel Miranda. Miranda is being called up from the minors to make the spot start and allowed 37 home runs last season. In his career, Springer has enjoyed success against Miranda, smacking four home runs in only 15 at-bats against him. The Astros leadoff man has an excellent chance to hit the ball hard somewhere Tuesday night and it would not surprise anyone if he took Miranda yard one more time. Springer is a great play in daily leagues and is a must-start in all other formats for Tuesday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
