7 years agoAccording to a story published on SI.com, Roc Nation, the group which is representing Penn State running back Saquon Barkley, doesn't want him to play for the Cleveland Browns, instead hoping he goes to the New York Giants at No. 2 overall. The story goes on to state that Roc Nation asked Barkley to demand the Browns not take him, similar to what Eli Manning did to the Los Angeles (then San Diego) Chargers back in 2004. Barkley, for his part, has never considered the request, even going so far as to tell friends about a vision he has. Barkley is thinking about how he would be remembered as a generational athlete if he were to be able to bring a Super Bowl championship to Cleveland. As of now, it appears likely the Browns will take a quarterback with the first overall pick in the draft, meaning Barkley would have to slip to fourth for the Browns to have a shot at him.--Matt T - RotoBaller
