7 years agoLos Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia anticipates that starter Shohei Ohtani (blister) will make his next start. This is in line with what Ohtani himself said after Tuesday's game when he was removed after just two innings with a blister. Ohtani typically pitches on six days rest, so expect to see him making his next start early next week. Scioscia also indicated that his blister will have no impact on Ohtani's hitting this week. He is available to hit Thursday, but the Angels are facing a left-hander. If he's not in the lineup Thursday, he should be back over the weekend.--patton
