Max Kepler Leaves Wednesday With Knee Injury
7 years agoThe Minnesota Twins lost outfielder Max Kepler to a knee injury during their game against the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday night. Kepler went 1-for-3 in the game before departing with Ryan LaMarre taking over for Kepler in center field in the top of the 10th inning. There is no word yet on how serious the injury to Kepler is, although it is likely the team will update his status Wednesday night or early Thursday. Kepler was moved to center field on Tuesday after starting center fielder Byron Buxton went on the disabled list with migraines. Kepler is hitting .263 with three homers and five RBI in 12 games in 2018.
