6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks closer Brad Boxberger took the loss on Wednesday night, giving up the game-winning two-run home run to Brandon Belt in the 10-inning loss to the Giants. It was Boxberger's first loss of the year and the first runs he has given up all season. Belt has been a thorn in the Diamondbacks side all series long, breaking up Patrick Corbin's no-hitter on Tuesday and now smashing the game-winning HR in extra innings. Boxberger has been great to start the year and one blip shouldn't cause a panic from his owners, although Archie Bradley is waiting in the wings for save chances should Boxberger struggle repeatedly.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
