7 years agoThe New York Mets may not be committing to another start for starting pitcher Matt Harvey, but they haven’t made a decision on him yet, either. In the latest chapter of Harvey’s destruction, he was knocked around to the tune of six earned runs across six innings pitched, raising his ERA to a horrid 6.00. The questions about Harvey remaining in the rotation are only going to increase with Jason Vargas likely set to make his return (and Mets debut) late next week, meaning someone in the current rotation has to be displaced. Harvey will likely receive at least one more start, but if he falters yet again, he’s essentially making the Mets’ decision for them.--John Smith
