Amed Rosario Hits Third Double In Four Games
7 years agoYoung New York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario has been hot and cold to start 2018, but as of Friday, he’s trending towards hot again. In a 5-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves, Rosario finished 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run scored and one RBI. Of course, he also struck out once, but what’s an Amed Rosario game without a strikeout? The two doubles give Rosario five on the season and three in his last four games. Over those four games, he’s slashing .357/.400/.571 (5-for-16) with four runs scored and an RBI. He’s also only struck out three times over that span, which is a great thing for the free-swinging former top prospect. Rosario isn’t exactly fantasy starting material just yet, but he undoubtedly has the talent to be and needs to always be monitored.
