7 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman is starting to look like himself again. He hit a double on Sunday and would eventually score, his only hit and run of the game. That was his sixth hit in his last 12 at-bats, and he's now raised his OPS from a dreadful .390 to .650 on the season. He's been making hard contact all year but has been extremely unlucky so far. He won't replicate his tremendous numbers from 2017, but he won't be as bad as he was looking those first few weeks. The window on buying low may be closing, so if you're feeling like taking a chance on an aging slugger that can ride the end of your bench, you should do so sooner rather than later.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
