Mitch Haniger Has Three-Game Home Run Streak
7 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger is having a breakout-type month to begin his season, going 9-for-19 (.473) with three home runs and seven runs batted in over his last five games. Haniger has homered in each of his past three games and is slugging a robust .671 thus far this season. The 27-year old outfielder now is among the league leaders in RBI and home runs and is flashing the potential that had fantasy owners salivating last April. Haniger enjoyed an excellent first month of the season in 2017 but an oblique injury completely derailed his season. Health is paramount to his success, but Haniger is proving to be the real deal. For the season, Haniger is hitting .314 with four doubles, seven home runs, 10 runs scored and 22 runs batted in.
