7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Jacob Nottingham has been sent back down to Triple-A Colorado Springs after Manny Pina (calf) has been activated off the disabled list. In seven plate appearances, Nottingham failed to register his first MLB hit, however, he earned two walks in his MLB debut. He still has a lot to learn and will benefit from starting time in Triple-A. Depending on how the Brewers want to handle their catching situation when Stephen Vogt returns, a trade could be in play to ensure Nottingham is starting in Triple-A. Keep a close eye on Nottingham, as any time a catcher injury happens to the Brewers, Nottingham will be the first one up and is most likely their future at the position.--Caden Inaba
