7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Zach Davies went six innings on Tuesday, giving up four hits, two earned runs and three walks while striking out two in the 5-2 win over the Kansas City Royals. So far this season, it appears that Davies either looks great or terrible, as he has three quality starts in five starts. However, he is rocking a 4.45 ERA, as he gave up 11 runs combined in the other two starts. He's now up to a 2-2 record with 28 1/3 innings pitched. Davies is young and has a ton of upside, so he should be owned in most formats. However, owners also need to be aware that Davies does not strike out a lot of batters. With a career 6.58 K/9, including only 5.83 last season, he'll really need to pump out low-run starts for him to be a valuable asset.--Caden Inaba
