Lorenzo Cain Is Swinging A Hot Bat For Milwaukee
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain went 2-for-3 on Tuesday with two runs, one RBI and two walks in the 5-2 win over the Kansas City Royals. After entering a slump in mid April that dropped his batting average from .310 to .271, Cain is now batting .450 with two home runs in his last seven games. Add on the fact that in that same time span he also has 11 runs and seven walks, and Cain is easily continuing off his hot start to the season. On the year, he is now batting .316 with 16 runs, three home runs, five stolen bases and eight RBI for an impressive .927 OPS. Cain will continue to provide contact and speed for fantasy owners, and with the lineup that the Brewers have this year, Cain may be one of the best leadoff hitters to own along with George Springer and Brian Dozier.
