Trevor Story Goes Yard For Grand Slam, Continues To Swing A Hot Bat
7 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story went 1-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk in the 8-0 win over the San Diego Padres. Story crushed a ball to left center field that gave him his first grand slam of the year. In the last seven days, Story has been constantly swinging the bat hard with a .391 batting average, two home runs, nine RBI, five walks and even two stolen bases. He now brings his season totals up to a .250 batting average with six home runs, 18 RBI, 11 runs and five stolen bases in 88 at-bats. While his stolen bases are bound to slow down, his power is certainly sustainable, as he has proven himself to be one of the hardest hitting shortstops in baseball. He should be owned in all formats and will continue to provide home runs and RBI while hitting cleanup for one of MLB's best offenses in the Rockies.
