7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames exited the game on Tuesday after jamming his thumb on a sliding play, and Brewers manager Craig Counsell appears to be relatively concerned about possible ligament damage. Thames will go through MRI testing on Wednesday, and the news on the severity of his injury will be released on Wednesday as well. Stay tuned. If the injury lands Thames on the disabled list, Jesus Aguilar will heavily benefit and should be picked up considering how great he has looked at the plate this year.--Caden Inaba
