7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig is sitting out Wednesday's late afternoon contest against the Marlins, and Matt Kemp will take his place in right field. Joc Pederson will get the start in left field and bat sixth. Manager Dave Roberts had mentioned earlier in the week that he was looking to give Pederson more starts. Kike Hernandez is starting at third base and batting eighth. The Dodgers are adamant about giving him at-bats and his positional flexibility allows them to rest their regular starters. He's been on fire the last week, going 6-for-11 with two home runs and an .840 OPS. He's a good daily play, while Pederson can be safely ignored for now.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
