7 years agoAfter a couple of shaky starts to begin his major-league career, Miami Marlins starter Trevor Richards had a career-high 10 strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings against the Dodgers on Wednesday. Richards struck out four of the first six batters he faced, as he surrendered no runs with only one hit and three walks allowed. He has shown high-strikeout upside in the minors, and things could be starting to click for him as he adjusts to major league hitting. In order to unlock his fantasy potential, Richards will need to start working deeper into games, as he has only one start this year of five or more innings. But things could be looking up for the 24-year-old, and going forward he can be a sneaky streaming option in deeper and NL-only leagues depending on the matchup.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
