7 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Joe Kelly will begin serving his six-game suspension on Thursday. Kelly did appeal the suspension, but it was denied and he'll be eligible to return May 2. Kelly was suspended back on April 12 for intentionally hitting Yankees first baseman Tyler Austin with a pitch during a game against the Yankees. Kelly can be dropped in all leagues until his suspension is over. He's not really worth owning when active, except in the deepest of leagues.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
