7 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano is not in the lineup on Saturday as his team gets ready to take on the Cincinnati Reds. It appears to be a day off for Sano, who the Twins have been trying to rest about once a week this season after he had offseason surgery on his lower leg. The game between the Twins and Reds on Friday night also took over four hours to complete, despite only going nine innings, which perhaps played into the team's decision to give Sano a day of rest. Sano is hitting just .213 this season but he does have five homers and 14 RBI. Expect him to be back out there on Sunday. Eduardo Escobar is at third base with Ehire Adrianza entering the starting lineup at shortstop Saturday.--Matt T - RotoBaller
