Scott Schebler Launches Solo Homer Saturday
7 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Scott Schebler continued his recent hot streak on Saturday, launching a solo homer off of Minnesota Twins right-hander Jake Odorizzi. It went down as the Reds' only run of the game. Schebler has been on fire since being activated from the disabled list, batting .346 with two homers, eight RBI, and seven runs in 26 at-bats. The 27-year-old outfielder missed a few weeks in the middle of April after getting hit on the elbow by a pitch but hasn't shown any signs of rust since returning. The Reds have insisted on using a four-man outfield in 2018, meaning Schebler won't quite play every day, but he should still be in fantasy lineups while he's hot at the plate.
