7 years agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns exploded in Game 2 against Vegas, recording a three-point night with two goals and an assist in a 4-3 overtime win. He logged 36:48 and registered six shots in total with two blocks. There have been some reports of Burns playing injured, but he sure looked healthy Saturday night. It was his third three-point night in the playoffs overall since joining San Jose in 2011-12. He is the only defenseman in franchise history to have three such outings and the only Sharks d-man to post two-goal games on multiple occasions.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
