Yoenis Cespedes Expects To Miss Three Games
7 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes left Sunday’s victory over the San Diego Padres early due to a thumb injury, and fortunately he only expects to miss three games. He says he’s dealt with this injury previously, and knows how to handle it. While that will probably be the case, don’t set that timeline in stone just yet. Initial X-rays came back negative on Sunday, but he’s set to undergo a precautionary MRI on Monday. Considering the Mets’ history with injury diagnosis, you never can be too sure. As of now, pencil Cespedes back in your lineup on Friday when the Colorado Rockies visit Queens for a three-game set.
