7 years agoCleveland Indians designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion hit three home runs on Wednesday, ending up 3-for-5 with six RBI and three runs scored. Encarnacion got off to a quick start in this one, hitting home runs in the first and second innings before smashing his third of the day in the eighth inning. It brought Encarnacion's home run total to nine on the season, and his RBI count to 16. Even with the excellent game, Encarnacion is still hitting just .191, but with a .709 OPS. He's heating up, and fantasy owners are ready to be rewarded for their patience.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
