7 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays have activated third baseman Josh Donaldson (shoulder) from the disabled list, and he is highly likely to be playing in at least one game of the team’s doubleheader with the Cleveland Indians on Thursday. Donaldson has been on the shelf since April 11 due to shoulder inflammation, but he evidently showed enough in the field during his two-game rehab stint earlier this week to make it a short assignment. Some may remember the comical multi-hop throws he was making across the diamond to start the year, but fortunately for fantasy owners, there shouldn’t be any more of that. Make sure he’s back in your lineups ASAP. His return hurts infielder Yangervis Solarte the most.--John Smith
