7 years agoNew York Mets third baseman Todd Frazier will have the day off for Thursday’s matinee against the Atlanta Braves. Frazier has gotten off to a fantastic start in Queens, slashing .255/.385/.429 with four home runs, 17 runs scored, 17 RBI and two stolen bases across 122 plate appearances. The jump in batting average to pre-2017 Frazier levels while still maintaining his 2017 big increase in on-base percentage and walk rate has been a nice boost for fantasy owners. Frazier has undoubtedly been a top-10 option at third base thus far. Jose Reyes will get the start at the hot corner for the Amazins against Julio Teheran on Thursday.--John Smith
