7 years agoThe Boston Red Sox were in need of a fresh relief arm and they get that with the 25-year-old Bobby Poyner. In order to complete the move, the team sent down reliever Marcus Walden, who pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings in Thursday's game. Poyner is only fantasy relevant in leagues that value holds, but the lefty has looked decent in the majors this season with a 2.57 ERA over seven appearances. He could be a possible option for fantasy owners that are desperate for middle relief.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
