7 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Rick Porcello finally earned his fifth win of the year Friday night against the Rangers. Porcello was very effective with his pitches and limited the Rangers to three hits in six innings while striking out eight batters and walking one. His lone mistake was a homer by Nomar Mazara in the fourth inning. Porcello has allowed one run or less in four starts this year and dropped his ERA to 2.14. Porcello might find more of a challenge against the Yankees in his next outing.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
