7 years agoThe Tampa Bays Rays outfielder Carlos Gomez has been given the day off, and Mallex Smith is getting start in his place. Gomez has been struggling at the plate all season, as his strikeout rate is at a career high and his walk rate is at a career low. Even though his numbers should tick up going forward, he should not be in consideration as an add in any league.
