7 years agoWashington Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg earned the win on Monday against the Padres over seven innings. He allowed three runs on six hits while striking out five and walking one. His fastball was comfortably sitting at 95 mph in his last inning with no signs of fatigue. Batters are hitting .222 against him and his WHIP sits at 1.04, which are near perfectly aligned with his career numbers (.223 and 1.08, respectively). He'll next face the formidable Diamondbacks in Arizona on Saturday for his second start of the week. So long as he stays healthy, he'll continue providing elite value as the season continues.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
