7 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman was pulled early from Monday's game against the Astros after only two at-bats. The decision was made easier when the Athletics were down by 11 runs. Chapman has played every inning of every game thus far, so the rest was likely needed. He has been struggling while only batting .156 with 12 runs, three homers and seven RBI in the last 30 days. If you can, bench him until he gets back on track.
