7 years agoIn a story that’s continuing to develop, Toronto Blue Jays closer Roberto Osuna was arrested on Tuesday and charged with assault on a woman. Osuna was subsequently released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on June 18. It’s unknown at this point what ramifications we’ll see from the Blue Jays, but you can be sure the incident will be investigated by Major League Baseball, who have the authority to hand down discipline via their domestic-violence policy. There are obviously more important things going on here than simply baseball, but for fantasy purposes, owners may want to look into other closers just in case the elite 23-year-old misses time. In Toronto, Ryan Tepera may be the first choice in the ninth inning if Osuna is hit with a suspension, which seems likely. If you're desperate for saves, run to the waiver wire now and add Tepera.--John Smith
