7 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz has three hits over his last 25 at-bats, hitting .120 over his last seven games, with 10 strikeouts heading into Tuesday night's action. Two of those three hits have gone for home runs, but his batting average has dipped to .245 during the skid. Cruz is clearly scuffling and the high strikeout totals are a bit above the norm. Cruz's track record, however, should keep fantasy owners from pushing the panic button at this time, and the veteran slugger can carry an offense when he gets hot. Cruz will look to get back on track as the Mariners open up a series with the Blue Jays beginning Tuesday night.--Joey C - RotoBaller
