7 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (elbow) is now fully expected to pitch on Sunday in Philadelphia against the Phillies. deGrom threw two innings in a simulated game on Tuesday and it “went really well,” according to manager Mickey Callaway, adding “everything went better than can be expected.” Dealing with a hyperextended right elbow, deGrom was initially expected to miss four starts before then not expecting to miss any time at all, to finally only missing one start. So long as deGrom is starting, he needs to be in your fantasy lineups, regardless of matchup.--John Smith
