7 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo pitched well against the New York Mets on Tuesday. Castillo allowed two runs in 5 2/3 innings of work, striking out seven and walking one. Castillo picked up the win to improve his record to 2-4 on the season while he also dropped his ERA to 6.47. The young right-hander has had some struggles with consistency this season, but he still possesses excellent stuff and double-digit strikeout upside whenever he takes the mound. Castillo now has a 38/15 K/BB ratio over 40 1/3 innings of work in 2018.--Matt T - RotoBaller
