7 years agoWhen Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson returned to the lineup after a lengthy injury absence last week, he came back with a bang. He picked up three hits and two home runs in his comeback bid against the Cleveland Indians, endearing himself to fantasy owners who were mad they lost a high draft pick for so much time that early in the year. Over the last few days, however, Donaldson has again earned the ire of the fantasy community. Since his first game back, Donaldson has only picked up one hit and has now gone four straight games without collecting any base knocks. We can’t really knock him for Tuesday’s outing considering the Blue Jays were no-hit by James Paxton, but still. All you can do with Donaldson right now is ride it out until he gets hot, unless you’re blown away in a trade offer.--John Smith
