6 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the New York Mets. Alex Blandino is starting at second base and batting sixth as the Reds get ready to wrap up their series with the Mets. Gennett has been dealing with a sore throwing shoulder all season and missed almost a week of games due to the issue. He is presumably getting a day of rest on Wednesday and should be back in the lineup Thursday when the Reds travel to Los Angeles to take on the Dodgers.--Matt T - RotoBaller
