7 years agoFree-agent running back Orleans Darkwa (leg) had surgery Wednesday to remove the plate in his leg, according to sources. X-rays have confirmed the fracture in his leg has healed, and he should be ready to go in four weeks. Darkwa should be ready for training camp this summer, but he hasn't seen much interest on the market despite setting career highs in carries (171), yards (751), yards per carry (4.4) and touchdowns (five) in 2017 with the Giants. It's possible he's signed as training camp approaches, but he'll have to prove his health.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
