7 years agoWhen the Toronto Blue Jays called up outfielder Teoscar Hernandez on April 13, he tore up the Major Leagues for his first week or so. While he did quiet down after that, he has been steadily productive and absolutely fantasy-worthy regardless. In a 5-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday, though, we saw the Teoscar emerge that ripped things up just a few weeks ago. He finished 3-for-4 with a home run and a double. For the year, he’s up to a .267/.318/.574 (.892 OPS) slash line with six home runs, nine doubles, two triples, 17 runs scored, 15 RBI, and three stolen bases. Hernandez has the ability to stuff every facet of the box score on a given night.--John Smith
