7 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton (ankle) has flown to Wisconsin to get a second opinion on his ankle which is still hurting a month after he injured it. That's not good news as the situation had originally been classified as a bone bruise. Eaton's been out since early April and walking around with a boot. The injury is on the same leg where he tore his ACL last season. When healthy, Eaton is among the league's best in getting on-base and scoring runs. His injury history is pretty extensive, however, and getting a second opinion makes it unlikely he'll be back anytime soon. Owners can't sell him now because his value is so low, so hold for the time being. He may be a drop if the prognosis is severe.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
